In Memory of George St. Angelo

George was a pastor at Evangelical United Brethren churches before taking the Chaplain’s post at North Central College in Naperville, IL.  It was in his role as Chaplain that George began taking students to Europe and recognized the value of travel as a learning tool.  He understood that travel can open a student’s mind to the world more effectively than anything else. As a result, George felt called to create Seminars International with his vision for purposeful experiential travel, thus becoming a pioneer in this field.   He continued to organize and lead programs into his 80’s and served on Seminars International’s Board of Directors until his death at age 90 on March 4, 2012.
